The Quilters who came before me

Sewn with discarded and unfinished quilt blocks, this work is dedicated to the quilters who  came before me. The origins of quilting are that of necessity, perseverance and resistance. For centuries, quilts have not just provided warmth, but opened the door for necessary and radical conversations.
